Restaurant Signs in Lafayette, LA
Johnston Street is crowded with places to eat. A restaurant sign there is not just telling people your name. It is competing for a decision that happens in about two seconds. Sign Design Pros builds restaurant signs across Lafayette.

A recent Lafayette project
Shawarma Guys is on Johnston St in Lafayette. That stretch of road has a restaurant every few hundred feet, so their signage had to work at two very different distances.
The storefront sign handles the drivers. The A-frame handles the people already on the sidewalk, and it can move to wherever the foot traffic actually is that day. We printed the A-frame full color, because a photo of the food does more work at three feet than any logo will.
The sidewalk sign, photographed in our Broussard shop before delivery:

What works for a Lafayette restaurant
- A lit building sign, so you still exist at dinner time.
- Window graphics for hours and the menu, at the lowest cost of anything we build.
- An A-frame for the sidewalk, which you can move and replace cheaply when the special changes.
- Patio and umbrella branding, if you have outdoor seating people photograph.
- Vehicle graphics if you cater or run a truck. The van becomes a moving sign.
What restaurant signs cost
The building sign is usually the biggest line item:
| What you're buying | Typical range | What moves the number |
|---|---|---|
| Front-lit channel letters | $3,000–$7,000 | The classic storefront look — acrylic faces, aluminum returns, LED-lit from inside. |
| Halo-lit (reverse) channel letters | $4,000–$9,000 | Light washes the wall behind each letter. More fabrication, more upscale result. |
| Combination front-lit + halo-lit | $5,000–$12,000 | Both effects in one letter set — the premium storefront option. |
| Non-illuminated dimensional letters | $2,000–$5,000 | No electrical work or LED components, so the cost drops accordingly. |
These are typical U.S. industry ranges (checked July 2026), shared to help you budget — not a quote. Sign Design Pros prices every project individually, so request a free, itemized quote for your exact number.
