How we build them
We build cabinets from aluminum and light them with LEDs. The face is either a printed panel that light shines through, or a cut face with acrylic letters pushed through it. Cut faces cost more and look much sharper at night, because the light comes through the graphic instead of the whole panel.
In Louisiana we pay close attention to sealing and drainage. A cabinet is a box hung on an outside wall. If water gets in and cannot drain, you end up replacing LEDs and staining the storefront. Drain holes, gaskets, and proper flashing are part of how we build, not an upgrade.
